11.19.17 PWA's Annual Fundraiser (Event Recap)

THANK YOU to the over 200 people who attended our energizing and inspiring fundraiser "Powerful Women for Challenging Times". It was a pleasure to see so many old friends and to meet new ones.

A special thank you to our amazing endorsed candidates and featured speakers Gretchen Whitmer, Jocelyn Benson, Rep. Winnie Brinks, and Rachel Hood. As we heard, these women have a deep understanding of the challenges facing Michigan and the creativity and experience to address them in office.

We all have a role to play as well. We can use our social networks to spread the word about their candidacy, host house parties for candidates, knock on doors or make calls on their behalf, and of course, donate funds to support their campaigns. Early money from organizations like PWA can have a tremendous impact on an election.

Thank you again to all who contributed to making this event a success. Please join us in the year ahead as we work hard and work together to bring strong progressive voices back to government.
