PROGRESSIVE WOMEN’S ALLIANCE
OF WEST MICHIGAN

The Progressive Women’s Alliance (PWA) recognizes that women's political participation and leadership plays a critical role in the effective functioning of our democracy. Since 2003, PWA has taken a unique approach to encouraging participation and leadership by combining aggressive fundraising with compelling educational programming. The result is that we have helped elect progressive candidates and advance progressive values throughout the State of Michigan.

Our work is even more important today. In the face of profound threats to our principles and the foundations of democratic institutions, PWA continues its efforts to raise money for progressive candidates and advocate for progressive values. Fundraising, organizing, and education are at the heart of our efforts to empower women, hold our leaders accountable, and restore integrity to electoral politics.
