Now that the 2018 elections are over and Michigan's 100th Legislative session has begun, you may find yourself asking "What comes next?" Join PWA as we welcome Rep. Jon Hoadley to answer this and many other pressing questions!
Rep. Hoadley is an exciting third term legislator who represents MI-60 (Kalamazoo) and fights passionately for Michigan's students, the environment, LGBTQ rights, and non-partisan redistricting. He will address important issues such as:
What "flashpoints" to look for during the first 6 months of this new legislative term
How to build power as voters and activists
The process of lawmaking in Lansing and how interested citizens can keep track of consequential bills before they become law
How to most effectively lobby lawmakers on issues that are important to you
