Every month, PWA’s book club gets together for a guided discussion of a great progressive read.
Book club meets the fourth Wednesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 pm, generally at a member’s home, but sometimes at a place of business or a local book store. Meeting locations are emailed to book club members in advance of the meeting. All PWA members are welcome to attend. Light refreshments are provided by the host or attendees.
Our book club is registered at Schuler Books. Tell them you’re a member of PWA and get a 20% discount on this month’s book.

The most recent meeting of the PWA Book Club was on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. We discussed The Post-American World, by Fareed Zakaria. The Book Notes are posted below. NEW ADMINISTRATOR NEEDED
Many thanks to Marcia Kantorowski for a very successful term as our Book Club administrator! We are currently looking for a new volunteer to take on this role. If you are reasonably organized, can read a calendar and make an occasional phone call, you possess all the essential skills for the job! Responsibilities include keeping the list of suggested books, preparing monthly notices, and arranging locations for the meetings. E-mailing of the notices to the Book Club distribution list will be handled by PWA. If you are interested or would like to know more, please contact Melissa Anderson at mjapwa@gmail.com.
